Block breaks are counted from the project's append-only event archive while Walter is observing. Crafted, used, collected, dropped, and exhausted-item totals come from Minecraft's player statistics.

Minecraft does not expose smelting as an independent lifetime statistic in this record. Processed outputs may appear among crafted-item statistics, but they are not relabeled as smelted unless the game identifies them that way.
